Art Therapist & Counselor

Hi there! my name is Meggan Grant. I am the founder and owner of Birdy Art Therapy, PLLC. I earned my Master’s Degree in Art Therapy with an emphasis in Counseling from Mount Mary University in 2019. My core values stem from the philosophy that the creative process can develop a deeper understanding of self, aiding in connection, healing and transformation. I have years of experience working with adolescents, adults and families, joining with clients to provide integrative and effective care, being mindful of keeping you at the center of treatment.

I enjoy collaborating with clients utilizing a person-centered, relational-cultural, and feminist lens with a holistic approach. My goal is to guide you through the art therapy process to aid in healing and personal growth. I am also experienced in utilizing mindfulness, meditation and somatic strategies such as EMDR and IFS to benefit the mind-body connection.

I was born and raised in the Midwest and have been in Colorado for the past 6 years with no plans on ever leaving this beautiful place. I enjoy a good adventure, nature, art, reading and connections. When I am taking a break from enjoying my work as an Art Therapist, you can find me advocating for human rights, at my sewing machine, snuggled up with a good book or with loved ones.

I understand finding the right therapist can be an art. If you are interested in seeing if we are a good fit in working together, please feel free to reach out to me to schedule a free 15 minute consultation.
